From pregnancy to the teen years, raising healthy, safe and strong children is difficult for any family. We’re here to help. We fund programs and services for pregnant women, families with infants and children under 6 – as well as afterschool services for school-age children and programs for teens such as mentoring and classes for teen parents.
To see if your family is eligible for services, please call 888-634-7900.
Once you call, you will be directed to one of the following agencies or services that can help you:
- Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County: This entry agency helps pregnant women find affordable medical care and, if need be, offers an array of services – from nutrition support and mental health counseling to group prenatal care to nurse-home visiting. If you or someone you know is pregnant and in need of services, we can help.
- HomeSafe: This entry agency screens and assesses children ages 0-5 for any risks that could affect growth and development – and, ultimately, children’s ability to be successful in school. If you have questions about your young child’s growth and development, we can help.
- Parenting: Children’s Services Council offers free positive parenting seminars throughout Palm Beach County. This program, called Triple P, also offers one-on-one sessions to families who may need extra help building a positive parent-child relationship. If you have parenting questions, we can help.
- Child Care/Afterschool: Children’s Services Council provides matching funds and scholarships so more Palm Beach County children have access to safe, quality child care and afterschool services, including summer programs, mentoring and TOP (Teen Outreach Program) clubs. If you have questions about child care or afterschool options, we can help.
